livia's 12th birthday:
livia's birthday is always a day to celebrate, but this year we had another memorable event on her birthday - we closed on our house on carlisle street.
We moved in with my parents the weekend before Livia's birthday to allow time to clean and prepare the house before the final day of closing. We had to say "good-bye" to the house one last time as a family and take pictures. We had almost 10 years of memories in that house, and of course there were tears as we pulled away from our home one.last.time...

good-bye play set...the girls spent many an hour swinging, climbing, and sliding on their play set (we are happy to know the new homeowners are having a baby...we know their baby will enjoy the play set as much as our girls did!)

later after we closed on our house, we celebrated livia's birthday at zella's (livia's request was to have a juicy steak for her birthday)
