well, bobby has NOT been looking forward to this date for a LOOOONG time...as a way to ease the blow a bit, I decided to throw a surprise birthday party for him on Thursday evening. Throughout the week he has been treated like a king...as he should!

 playing Bean Boozled...each Jelly Belly flavor has 1 good flavor and 1 bad flavor, but no one can tell which is which until you bite into the bean.

meA with junie B...

we have been enjoying our mea break! Any excuse to spend time together as a family causes for a celebration! Thursday we woke up and took a walk to a local cafe for breakfast,

Later we all got our flu mist - mea tradition. Friday was more of a "fun day" because we surprised the girls with tickets to the Stages Theatre in Hopkins. We saw "Junie B. Jones - The Musical". It was hilarious and entertaining. We all loved it! After some lunch and shopping, we visited our friends, Paul and Hattie Mordorski, for some afternoon playtime.

On Saturday we walked to the Farmer's Market and selected pumpkins to carve. After walking back, we each chose a theme for our pumpkins and carved away! We have accomplished so much and it is only Saturday afternoon. I love long weekends!

ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND!

back at it...

well, our family is finally back into the swing of things...we have a month of school under our belt, and things are starting to return to "normal". At the beginning of September, we celebrated my parents' 45th wedding anniversary. We took them to one of our favorite malt shops, and surprised them with a trip to the Deer Lake Apple Orchard. It was a fun day. The girls have been keeping fit by playing soccer and participating in the annual Cross Country meet for grades 2-5. It has been an enjoyable start to our school year.
