in the month of november, we are given the day of thanksgiving to reflect and be thankful for all our blessings. Every evening as we tuck our girls into bed, we say our prayers and thank God for YOU - yes you - the person reading this blog. We are blessed to be surrounded by loving friends and family and fortunate to be able to spend time together making memories as a family.
Here are a few things we are thankful for...
TRADITIONS:
every year we cut down our Christmas tree as a family
this year we went back to turck's trees.
we were thankful for the freshly fallen snow, but not so thankful for...
the mud!
turck's received so much rain and snow, that we weren't able to drive out to the actual tree farm.
oh well, we are thankful we were healthy enough to walk!

we are thankful for bobby's patience and strength!

FRIENDS AND FAMILY:
it has become a tradition to get together with the mordorski family on thanksgiving weekend to celebrate christmas.

our PTO held a family movie night at school in november.
i am thankful for the wonderful friends our girls have chosen to help mold and guide them through their school years!

GIFTS:
the mordorski family gave us a special ice cream ball for christmas
we had a BALL making the chocolate ice cream!
VETERANS:
we are thankful for our service men and women who make the conscious decision to fight for our freedom on a daily basis.
we are thankful for my dad and his many years in the navy!
FUN:
bobby brought back a "house party" speaker for the girls after his trip up north.
we are thankful for moments of fun together as a family!
ACTIVITIES:
the girls completed their first session of figure skating in november.
we are thankful for activities that allow our girls to not only stretch their creativity, but also make them more well-rounded young ladies!
SNOW DAYS:
our school had their first "early out" in november
i am thankful that my girls still want to spend time together!
BIRTHDAYS:
we celebrated susan's birthday at a local restaurant and then came back to our house for some birthday cake and games
we are thankful that nancy was able to come to the birthday get-together!
we are thankful for our family that puts up with our shenanigans!
SAM and JINGLE:
sam, our elf on the shelf

jingle, our reindeer made it back from the north pole
we are thankful for the magic that is in all of us this time of year!
