livia began playing the french horn in november. The funny thing was that before she decided on the french horn, she was pretty sure she wanted to play the flute. I guess things happen for a reason. Livia has loved playing the french horn, and her band instructor has mentioned that she has such good pitch for a beginner! Way to go, Liv!

this year livia also had the option to participate in the 5th grade choir. The choir met on Tuesdays after school during the months between October and February. We were delighted to attend her first "official" choir concert in February. I do not think this will be her last choir concert in her lifetime!
