happy fall y'all! How have you been? We have been great, but busy as usual. With school starting earlier this year we still had a few pins on our bucket list that we needed to take care of. So, here are some of our favorite things from the past month (or so...):

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL:
bobby made elephant pancakes this year for the girls...
eek! We have a middle schooler! Livia even rides the bus this year, since she is at a different building AND starts 1 hour earlier!

LETTING OUR BUTTERFLIES GO:
when you purchase the kit, you send away for the caterpillars first. then you get to watch them transform into butterflies!
STATE FAIR:
this is is the first year our family has attended the great minnesota get together...bobby and i took livia once when she was a baby, but she doesn't remember it!

THE BASILICA:
we attended sunday mass at the basilica in minneapolis
afterwards, we took a tour of the beautiful church
THE WINDSCHITL FAMILY CHRISTMAS:
we decided to play the memorable game, "Speak Out"
