fall adventures...

this past week bobby took the day off to chaperone livia's field trip to the nelson's farm. It was a cold day, but both Livia and Bobby dressed warmly and said the day turned out great! Sophia also took a trip to Nelson's Farm on Thursday, so Grandpa Mike made sure to drive her bus and spend the day with her - thanks, Grandpa!

happy halloween!

fall break fun...

we started our "fall break" wednesday evening in royalton...yes, i said royalton. My brother, Shawn, played football that evening against the Royalton Royals. It was a suspenseful game with the Upsala/Swanville Association (USA) winning in the last 2 minutes of the football game - too bad sophia fell asleep right at the end and missed all the action. We are so glad we were able to make it to one of Shawn's football games before he graduated!

friday we drove into hopkins to see the play, "lilly's purple plastic purse" at the stages theatre. We enjoyed the show and even got all the actors' signatures inside our book at the end of the performance!

 guess who sat next to us at the show? my friend and colleague, ms. naomi shadis and her niece, davy. neither of us knew we were going to the show  - small world!

wicked awesome...

a few of my teacher friends got together last weekend for some wicked awesome fun! first we ate at one of my favorite restaurants - masa. after a delicious meal - some solid and some liquid ;) , we walked to the orpheum theatre to see "wicked". i have to say it was spectacular and mesmerizing! it was a memorable evening with friends...
