summer lovin': between moving out of our old house and moving into our new house, we were able to find some time to love summer! here are some of our favorite activities that we loved over the summer...
LAKE OF THE WOODS
bobby, livia, and my dad took a trip to the lake of the woods for a few days in may.
livia with her walleye (notice how bundled up everyone is...it was VERY cold and WINDY!)
my dad caught a massive northern...it wasn't the correct measurement, so he had to throw it back!
it was a great trip, even the weather wasn't the best...they are already talking about going back next year!

AQUATIC CENTER
our town FINALLY opened an aquatic center for kids and families. We were able to partake in a few days at the pool over the summer...

CRITTERS
we found this turtle on my parents' driveway. We rescued it and put it back in the lake nearby.

15TH ANNIVERSARY
the only guidelines that bobby had was that i wanted to have some delicious tamales and a killer margarita for our anniversary. He took us to "La Loma Tamales" for the delicious tamales. He checked around and "this was the less stabby of all the tamales places".

later i had a killer margarita at angie's cantina in duluth...
we stayed at "pier b" in duluth for two days...
we sat outside and watched the ships come in...

we took in a movie on our anniversary after supper at grandma's (bobby's request was to have a steak cheese french sandwich)
i wanted to try out the bikes on the canal...a lot harder than it looks!
