it was tree-mendously fun...

it is a tradition in our house to cut down our christmas tree the day after thanksgiving. so, when many of you are just crawling IN to bed after a crazy night of black friday shopping, the withers family is crawling OUT of bed and putting on our long underwear. This year was definitely colder than the past few years. It was beautiful though, with the freshly fallen wet snow from the evening before. We found our tree in record time (30 minutes), and some of it may have to do with the temperature, but i am not confirming that at this time. It is always a special tradition for us, and I hope our girls will look back on it with fond memories.

 ready to find our tree...
side note: this picture was taken RIGHT AFTER livia had just thrown snow up in the air and the wind caught it and threw it back into my face. bobby had to turn away because he was laughing so hard...nice one, honey!
 what a cute bunch!

 love those adorable girls!
look at how beautiful those trees were undisturbed out in the country...this is what i imagine when i think of christmas trees!
 sitting by THE tree
helping daddy haul it back to the car...more moral support than anything!

this reindeer was very friendly to us!
bye-bye, turck's trees! see you next november!
