well, summer is over {sigh}. it was another good one! this past weekend we decided to get a few more bucket list items crossed off, so we hopped into our truck and headed into the cities. Our good friends and partners in crime - paul, laurie, and owen - met up with us for some fun and graciously allowed us to invite ourselves overnight at their house. After church on Sunday, we drove over to the Arboretum to see the sights. It was a beautiful weekend and a perfect ending to our summer!

after our fun on the farm we drove to saint paul to try out "mickey's diner" (another pin on our bucket list). our dining experience did not turn out how i had expected...let's just say that the end result had 2 police officers taking a man off to jail - i guess this was our first and last time at mickey's diner!
