i have never ran a marathon before, but i can assume it feels a lot like my may did...long and grueling, but it felt so gratifying once i reached the finish line (aka-end of the school year)! The month of May includes a lot special events like our teacher appreciation banquet, mother's day, livia's birthday, and memorial day. This year we threw in a few more special events, which made it extra special but also extra busy! I hope you enjoy the first installment of our marathon.
Mile 1-13:
Teacher Appreciate Banquet
that's me under the 15 year mark...can you believe that?
---
Mother's Day
i am the luckiest...(have you heard that song by ben folds? makes me think about my life!)

First Biking Trip of the Season
taking a break from our 10 mile biking trip
