spring has sprung! wow! this weather has been AMAZING! We are fortunate to have had a "short" summer last year because we will be out of school in less than 5 weeks. I sure hope Mother Nature cooperates and allows us some more gorgeous spring weather and lovely summer weather, too.

we were able to spend the morning with paul and owen at the minnesota zoo

some friends from work and i painted at the paint factory one evening
my mom and i attended a crafting session at the shakopee vfw
to create a bottle opener. who knew how well crafts and beer go together?

SOPHIA'S BIRTHDAY
it is a tradition in our house to pick your breakfast for your birthday.
sophia chose...are you ready for this? carrot shaped banana pancakes! it is a good thing that bobby is so talented!
we sang and had sophia blow out the candle before "holy thursday" mass...we didn't get a chance to actually eat the cake until friday!

GOOD FRIDAY/BIRTHDAY FUN
every year we ask our girls if they would like a big gift or time with just mom and dad. this year, sophia wanted time with mom and dad only. we surprised her with some moa fun!
